No guest return without a baseline
Charter bases live on a simple rule: damage not on the record at check-in happened on the guest's watch. That only works if <strong>check-in exists as a receipt</strong>, not a verbal walk-through or photos you sort later.
Baseline gate
On Berth Charter dock demo, hand back does not open without a completed onboard baseline for that booking. A return photo without comparison_ref is just another JPEG in a dispute.
What breaks without baseline
- Monday: scratch on the transom and no dated baseline.
- Tuesday: guest says it was there at castoff.
- Wednesday: you rebuild the story from camera rolls.
